If you’re looking for a solid metal-tinged wah-meets-flanger effect, you’re gonna need the new Behringer Pedalflanger.
The Pedalflanger draws inspiration from one of the rarest flanger pedals ever made, bringing a distinctly ’70s approach to modulation in a single stompbox. The all-analog pedal covers chorus, flange, rotary, and vibe-style textures, with an integrated treadle for controlling the effect. It’s also a little gross sounding, which is nice.
An Auto/Manual switch lets you choose between an onboard oscillator and the treadle for controlling the filter sweep. Spread and Intensity controls provide additional control over the effect, while true-bypass switching keeps the pedal out of your signal path when it’s not engaged.
The Pedalflanger comes housed in a vintage-inspired enclosure and is designed to cover everything from subtle modulation to more extreme filter sweeps and psychedelic textures. Its also available here for $96 from Sweetwater, which is a pretty nice price.
