Lumberjack Guitarist Builds Guitar From an Axe, Splits Wood While Shredding

I’ve now seen guitars built from shovels, shotguns, and microwaves, but never an axe on an axe.

A man by the name of Reverend Peyton (of The Reverend Peyton’s Big Damn Band) constructed an “axe” out of an axe and in this crazy bound-to-soon-be-viral video, he plays it and splits wood with it while playing a smooth slide ditty.

Chop on, Rev.

As Editor-in-Chief of Gear Gods, I've been feeding your sick instrument fetishism and trying unsuccessfully to hide my own since 2013. I studied music on both coasts (Berklee and SSU) and now I'm just trying to put my degree to some use. That's a music degree, not an English one. I'm sure you noticed.
