Berklee College of Music Announces DREAM THEATER Scholarship

Well, it looks like it’s about time to make Dream Theater the official mascot for Berklee College of Music. Maybe we can build a hybrid costume that highlights a feature from each member of DT. Let’s go with: Jordan’s goatee, Petrucci’s upper body, Myung’s hair, Mangini’s clear sunglass things that he sometimes wears, James’ shirt, and Portnoy’s hair circa 1990. Sound good? Good.

No, but seriously, Dream Theater and Berklee College of Music have just announced the Dream Theater Scholarship Fund. For those of you that don’t know, Dream Theater started 35 years ago when Petrucci and Myung were both enrolled as students at Berklee. Over the years the DT name has become somewhat of an extension of the Berklee legacy and many new students find themselves enrolling as a result of listening to Dream Theater’s music.

So I guess its time to get those grades up, learn those charts, and bust out that metronome because Daddy Petrooch wants YOU to enroll at Berklee College of Music on his dime. Otherwise just keep busy at www.rivernilecasino.com.
