Writing A Song From RANDOM Drum Grooves 2 – Featuring ADAM NEELY #DragNDropChallenge

It’s here at last – episode 2 of the #DragNDropChallenge, in which I write a song using MIDI drum grooves that have been randomly selected and dropped into Toontrack’s Superior Drummer 3 and then have a guest player perform on the track. This time I was fortunate enough to have whiz kid Adam Neely play bass on not just the solo, but the entire song, which he knocked wayyy out of the park.

If you missed the first episode, you can watch it here, it’s got a BLISTERING solo courtesy of my man Stevie T.

You can download the final song here if you liked it.

As Editor-in-Chief of Gear Gods, I've been feeding your sick instrument fetishism and trying unsuccessfully to hide my own since 2013. I studied music on both coasts (Berklee and SSU) and now I'm just trying to put my degree to some use. That's a music degree, not an English one. I'm sure you noticed.
