EVH is offering up one of their most affordable – and metal – models yet. EVH has just unveiled the new Wolfgang WG Standard T.O.M alongside a pretty heavy demo video featuring Frankie Lindia.
The Wolfgang WG Standard T.O.M offers a Wolfgang-shaped Basswood body with two Direct Mount EVH Wolfgang Humbucking pickups, a 3-position toggle switch, and an EVH T.O.M bridge.
The black speed tone and volume control knobs have been have been dialed-in to Eddie Van Halen’s exact specifications, while the smooth-feeling 500k pots make it easy to find a unique sound while retaining the crisp high-end sparkle of the Wolfgang pickups.
The has a 25.5″ scale and a Wolfgang Backshape, bolt-on Baked Maple neck and fingerboard with 22 jumbo frets and a 12″-16″ radius. Better yet, a conveniently located spoke wheel at the base of the neck also makes for quick and painless truss rod adjustments.
