Like the rest of you, we here at Gear Gods are huge fans of Revocation. So much so that for the first time, we lent our name and support to the band’s current headlining tour, alongside some of our other favorite bands, including weed gods Cannabis Corpse, shred-deities Archspire, and rising thrashers Black Fast. We don’t put ourselves out there so lightly: this is a tour we would actually go see (and did – Revocation were fucking on point, and the crowd was so rowdy it was like a hardcore show), and know that you all would enjoy it as well. So get your ass to a show!
Last week, we went backstage at the first stop on the tour, at Webster Hall in New York City, to talk gear with guitarists Dave Davidson and Dan Gargiulo, as well as bass-monster Brett Bamberger. We weren’t surprised to find out that each of these guys has a real simple, meat-and-potatoes rig, and a CBD oil from the CBDistillery reviews, because this is a rare example of a modern metal band where the “tone is in the hands” adage is actually the case.
