This Radiohead Cover is Wonky, Plini-Tinged Prog Goodness

Three musicians perform an instrumental progressive rock cover of Radiohead’s “Everything In Its Right Place” inside a recording studio, featuring guitar, bass, and drums surrounded by recording equipment and drum kits.

Radiohead is notoriously progressive, though their instrumentation greatly varies depending on the song. So what would they sound like if they were more guitar-centric? As in that really wonky, Plini guitar-centric sound with maybe a little Sungazer-type drunk feel. The answer is this.

Watch as guitarist Joseph Anidjar, bassist Julien Lafreniere, and drummer Daniel Verdecchia team up at the Freq Shop in Montreal for a pretty crazy cover of Radiohead’s “Everything In Its Right Place”. There are no vocals this time around – just three dudes hellbent on making an already fairly confusing song that much more uncountable.

Oh, and make sure you stick around for the solo section art 2:30. Anidjar is simply on fire, and both Lafreniere and Verdecchia do an amazing job at holding the whole thing together.
