Schecter’s MV-6 electric guitar is currently on sale for $549, down from $899. Which is a pretty steep discount on a model built around flexible pickup switching and comfortable upper-fret access.
The MV-6 features three Schecter Diamond 351 pickups paired with a five-way SuperSwitch, providing multiple pickup combinations with series and parallel switching. Master volume and tone controls keep adjustments straightforward, while the switching options give players access to a range of sounds for clean rhythms, driven parts, and lead work.
The guitar features a Basswood body and a bolt-on Wenge neck with Schecter’s Thin C profile and Ultra Access construction. Its 25.5-inch scale length, 14-inch-radius Ebony fingerboard, and 24 X-Jumbo frets provide room for bends and fast runs across the neck. Aluminum offset circle inlays and a 1.65-inch Graph Tech Ivory TUSQ XL nut complete the fingerboard setup.
Hardware includes a Schecter two-point tremolo with stainless steel saddles and Schecter locking tuners. The heel-access spoke-wheel truss rod also makes neck adjustments more convenient.
The MV-6 is available in several finishes, including Gloss Black, Metallic Purple, Olympic White, and Super Sonic Blue. It comes equipped with .010–.046 Ernie Ball Regular Slinky strings, while the Schecter Vintage Tweed case is sold separately. At $549, the Schecter MV-6 offers a $350 saving off its regular $899 price right here at Musician’s Friend.
