Our friends over at Reverb have released some fascinating videos investigating the music technology that goes into some of your favorite television soundtracks – including Stranger Things.
With the Twin Peaks revival in full swing, Justin DeLay has dug into the synth sounds that went into the show’s haunting, iconic theme. As with his Stranger Things video, DeLay goes pretty in depth into the history of synthesizers used on Peaks, and how composers David Lynch and Angelo Badalamenti actually achieved their tones.
