Here’s one I’ve been hoping to see (and more importantly, hear) for some time – a shootout of the 6505MH versus the full size 6505+ head. I’ve heard lots of good things about the MH, which is less than half the size of the 6505+, but I’ve been curious as to whether or not it actually stacks up to the real deal. Thankfully, Fluff is here to do the heavy lifting for us. I was in a GC the other day for shits and giggles and checked out a newer 6505+. Looked on the back and saw it was made in China. Suuuuuper crazy to see. Kinda wishing I kept my ole MIA 6505+ haha

This might be captain obvious but i’m guessing you think there is a dramatic drop in quality of when they are made in china? I bought a Madison amp in high school cus i wanted a tube half stack and it was cheap but want to try something new. thinking of getting 6505+ or 6534+. The cab that came with my Madison should be fine right? it has vintage 30’s.
