We are pretty stoked on Greber, the new project featuring members of Fuck the Facts and The Great Sabatini. Greber plays a twisted concoction mixing all the influences you would expect from those bands: grind, death, hardcore, and noise being the most obvious, but with a nice undercurrent of rock energy. Their latest release, 2014’s Kiln Hardened Psalms, was mastered by our pal Brad Boatright at Audiosiege Studios, and is a serious ripper.

What’s also interesting about Greber is that it’s a two-piece, featuring just drums and bass. Although there are a few punk and noise bands going with that instrumentation set-up, you don’t often see that in metal, so we jumped at the chance to catch up with the band and learn more about how they make such a varied and heavy sound with limited players and instruments.
