TRIVIUM’s Matt and Corey Pay Their Penitence in “The Sin and the Sentence” Playthrough

Matt Heafy and Corey Beaulieu laid down a killer playthrough of Trivium’s single, “The Sin and the Sentence.” Their new record of the same name was released October 20th, and has already been highly regarded by Metal Hammer and Loudwire. As is always a solid practice, do have a listen yourself, though.

The boys’ll be heading out on the road October 27th through the first week of December in support of The Sin and the Sentence, and you can find a list of dates and ticketing information here.

Fun fact: Matt had to do a little retunin’ while playing early on in the song. Not something you’d typically find in a video like this, which is a cool, humanizing element to many of the “flawless” performances we see in playthroughs. Do it up!
