SENTINELS Drummer DAVE RUCKI Spins Round And Round In This Exclusive Playthrough Of “Vicious Cycle”

New Jersey-based progressive metal band Sentinels have just come out with their newest full-length album Unsound Recollections this past February (out now via Stay Sick Recordings.). In this latest playthrough, drummer Dave Rucki shows you how he does it on their song “Vicious Cycle”, only right here, on Gear Gods!

In the video, Dave lays down some insanely tight modern metal rhythms while still capturing the nuances that the progressive genre tends to sport. The tune is pretty damn relentless and complex, with minimal breaks between everchanging drum parts, but Dave manages to glue everything together with his fantastic execution of the drum parts. And to make things look and sound amazing on top of the playing, the video was filmed and edited by Joe Flannery to give everything that pristine feel.

Be sure to listen to and get your hands on Unsound Recollections here!
