ROB SCALLON Jams a 10-String Bassitar, I Mean Guitass, I Mean Shut Up

“If you’re gonna play a 9 string guitar you might as well play a bass.”

Number one, why can’t we all just get along? Two, if you don’t have anything nice to say….

Three, why not just split the difference? A ten string guitar, but a sort of siamese twin two headed behemoth of a guitar, with both Master and Blaster parts.

Rob Scallon is one step ahead as usual, and in his new video “Why not 10 strings?” he does just that. I feel that although he is responding to trolls in a way (this was a response to a comment left on a video), it does it in a clever and interesting way.

As Editor-in-Chief of Gear Gods, I've been feeding your sick instrument fetishism and trying unsuccessfully to hide my own since 2013. I studied music on both coasts (Berklee and SSU) and now I'm just trying to put my degree to some use. That's a music degree, not an English one. I'm sure you noticed.
