One of the albums I didn’t know I was excited about, but am now SUPER excited about, is the new solo album – The Crypt of Sleep – from drummer Hannes Grossmann (who you’ve heard on albums by Blotted Science, Obscura, Alkaloid, Necrophagist, etc). I haven’t heard much from it yet, but I’m sure it’s gonna be a beast.
SO, we’ve got a treat for you today, in the form of a playthrough from Danny Tunker (Alkaloid, Abhorrent), who played guitar on the record. This beast-mode solo is taken from a track called “Hail Satan.” You’re gonna want to hit play on this one, man.

Pretty much just a bunch of bebop lines. It looks really hard to play but I didn’t think it actually sounded that cool or really even good exactly.
