Hold on to ya butts – this playthrough is a fast and furious ride through contrapuntal waters. Aethereus (not to be confused with Etherius, with whom we’ve been doing a series of BTS videos this month) hail from the soggy northwest of Tacoma, Washington, and have been slinging their brand of tech-y prog since 2014.
This track, “Cascades of Light”, comes straight off their brand-heckin’ new joint Absentia which dropped August 10th, and features mastering and a guest solo by our own Brody Uttley (Rivers of Nihil), so if you enjoyed this raucous track, you are sure to love the rest of the album as well.
