VOX AMPS Deliver Two New HAND-WIRED Amplifiers In Recognition of 60TH ANNIVERSARY

The fine people of Vox Amplification in the UK have just announced a very special set of amps to mark 60 years of being in business. That’s right, the iconic company has been making high-quality amplifiers in the UK for longer than the majority of their customers have probably been alive. That’s dedication to the craft, so you know they’ve got to be putting out something juicy in honor of such an event. Let’s take a peek!

The two amps, the AC15 and AC30, are meant to be faithful recreations of their classic cousins: the EF86 equipped AC15 from 1957 and the AC30/6 from 1964. The new amps feature completely hand-wired premium components, custom-wound transformers, exclusive 12″ Celestion AlNiCo Silver speakers, and custom amp covers/”Egg” footswitches to activate that classic vibrato/tremolo channel. And on top of that, they’re constructed out of Baltic Birch ply, so you know they’re gonna be built rock-solid. Being the modern-day equivalents of two of the most iconic amps of their time, the AC15 and AC30 represent 60 years of painstaking work, dedication, and progress by Vox as a company. Now that’s truly something to be proud of!

To get your hands on one or both of these beauties, head over to the Vox Amps Anniversary page and find a dealer near you. To keep up to date with Vox for their 70th, 80th, and beyond anniversary specials (most likely), follow them on their Facebook and Twitter.
