In case you didn’t know already, Kurt Ballou is more than just the guitarist for the legendary Converge, he’s also an acclaimed producer with his own studio (GodCity Recording) who has produced a long list of albums for many bands.
He recently agreed to engineer, produce and mix five unsigned bands as part of this year’s Converse Rubber Tracks x MetalSucks promo, and MetalSucks recorded this interview and behind the scenes footage during those sessions.
