Find of the Week – SLAYER – Jeff Hanneman’s Personal Guitar Collection Up For Auction

With a new Slayer album on the horizon, the first ever without guitarist Jeff Hanneman, it’s a time of rebirth for the band. The post once manned by Jeff has been filled by able guitarist Gary Holt, and the band is continuing on in the wake of the tragedy.

Part of that rebirth and paying tribute to Jeff’s memory is for some good to come of it – the Hanneman estate is auctioning off his personal guitar collection, and a portion of the proceeds will go to charity (the Wounded Warrior Project).

Hope you’ve been saving your pennies though – the bid for each of these guitars starts at a whopping $12,000. If you’re loaded and you want to own a piece of Slayer history, then click here.
