NAMM 2015 – WAY HUGE Saffron Squeeze Compressor MkII Has More Knobs Than the MkI

When someone makes a Mark II of whatever it is they make, they generally do it because they feel they’ve reached a plateau of development, and that they feel like it’s improved upon the original enough to warrant a new release. With the Way Huge Saffron Squeeze Compressor pedal, apparently that meant adding Gain, Tone, and Attack knobs. Seems to me like maybe the Mark I should’ve stayed in the lab a bit longer if they were putting out a compressor without those seemingly vital controls, but nonetheless, the newly resurrected and improved model is decked right out for 2015.

As Editor-in-Chief of Gear Gods, I've been feeding your sick instrument fetishism and trying unsuccessfully to hide my own since 2013. I studied music on both coasts (Berklee and SSU) and now I'm just trying to put my degree to some use. That's a music degree, not an English one. I'm sure you noticed.
