NAMM 2015 – WARWICK LWA 500 Amp and Streamer CV 5 Bass

Last year for NAMM we wrote up the Warwick LWA 1000 amp, a tiny 1000 watt bass head. This year Warwick decided that maybe 1000 was too much, and now has a half-sized version – the LWA 500.

I think it’s crazy that they’re able to pack so much wattage into tiny packages these days. This summer I toured Europe with 750 watts of bass power in a 9 pound package and it made my life SO much easier. I hope they continue this trend until they make that kind of wattage in a pedalboard amp.

Til then you can drool over these cool Warwick basses and the LWA (Low-end with attitude?) 500:

I studied music on both coasts (Berklee and SSU) and now I'm just trying to put my degree to some use. That's a music degree, not an English one. I'm sure you noticed.
