ARCHSPIRE Bring the Speed With New Lyric Video for “INVOLUNTARY DOPPELGANGER”

Tech metal speedsters Archspire just released this banger of a lyric video for their new song “Involuntary Doppelganger” from their forthcoming 2017 release Relentless Mutation. The Vancouver-based band are known for their relentless delivery of blast beats, technical riffage, and aggressive vocals, and this song’s got all three! The video was done by the very talented Cloud Music Typography, and the beautifully gruesome cover art was painted by artist Eliran Kantor.

Now this tune is really, really good, and the dudes obviously have some insane chops. But it might just be impossible to read the lyrics along with the song in real time because of just how fast vocalist Oliver Rae Aleron is screaming. If he ever falls out of the music game, he’s definitely got a backup gig as an auctioneer! There’s also a bit of an Eminem’s “Rap God” thing going on here, and we really dig it.

Relentless Mutation is currently available for preorder and will be released September 22nd this year! You can get your mitts on it on the band’s Bandcamp page. For all other things Archspire, get at their Facebook and YouTube pages or be blown to smithereens!
