PLINI Plays First Ever Live Show – Footage Available

Plini was the subject of one of our Australia Week interviews, and around that time he revealed to me that he was gearing up for his very first live performance. I found it hard to believe that a musician of his caliber had never played out with other people, but I imagine it was just something he did mainly for fun as kind of a recording project that just happened to blow up a bit.

Well, the day of his first performance has come and gone, and if you don’t live down under, you most certainly missed it. Lucky for us, though, some of it was caught on camera, and we have it for you:

Of course everyone in the band is killer, but the superlative for me was drummer Troy Wright. Holy hell, this guy is off the damn chain! So cool to hear these songs performed live after listening to them on repeat off of his YouTube channel or my phone for so long.

Be sure to check out more videos from Plini and pick up his new EP The End of Everything, out now.

I studied music on both coasts (Berklee and SSU) and now I'm just trying to put my degree to some use. That's a music degree, not an English one. I'm sure you noticed.
