Ramming Speed Are Back in GodCity, Making New Summer Jams

Grinding thrashers Ramming Speed’s last album, Doomed to Destroy, Destined to Die, was an underrated metal highlight from 2013. Veterans of the Boston metal scene, the band really stepped things up from earlier recordings and demos with Doomed to Destroy, upping the ante with fun choruses, brutal grind riffs, and catchy d-back-beats. That album, which also had the group’s best production to date, was tracked and mixed by ace boardsman Kurt Ballou at his GodCity Studios in Salem, Massachusetts – so you are now obviously stoked to hear that the band is back at it, recording a new album with Mr. Ballou.

Thanks to pocket cameras and the Internet, we are able to beam ourselves into the studio with the Speed boys. Jonah Livingston just finished up tracking his drum parts for the record, and the band has posted a little teaser clip documenting the process.
