Glenn Fricker’s ATTACK OF THE BELLYACHING BASS PLAYERS! The Movie

I think Glenn Fricker is a tad misunderstood. Sure, he’s angry. Sure, he seems to have a vendetta against bass players everywhere. But just like when your dad is pissed because you were out late with sketchy characters on a weeknight, he’s mad because he cares.

I’m sure he doesn’t want to hate bass players. But as a producer and engineer, he’s had enough useless idiots walk through the door who claim to be bassists who are really just deluded morons that he’s taken it upon himself to find and illuminate the insincere.

Essentially, he’s using the word bass player very loosely. He wants more REAL bass players, not just demoted guitarists, girlfriends of the band, a friend who just wants to be involved, or community school dropouts. Bassists who are dedicated to their craft and not the craft services table.

However, it’s the internet. Nobody gets it, and so the hurting of butts commences. Luckily, that’s really funny to watch, and Glenn has taken the time to respond to some of his critics with yelling and facts.
