MESHUGGAH’s “Bleed” Played With ALL THUMPING?!

“Bleed” by Meshuggah is a tune known for its many, many triplets, difficult to remember rhythms, and insane technical prowess. The song is hard enough to play the “normal” way with a pick, so who would dare attempt to play it any other way? Andrew Bent, that’s who. The 19-year-old YouTuber recently uploaded a cover in which he plays the song thumped. That’s right, the technique popularized by Animals As Leaders guitarist Tosin Abasi. And the dude freaking slays it. Watch for yourself and feel bad about anything you’ve ever done.

You can get more ridiculous covers and thumpy goodness from Andrew’s YouTube channel, as well as his Instagram. Stay thumpy.
